The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us. I have just received word that the Emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away forever.

The Rebel Alliance launches a bold gambit. After cracking a string of Imperial code, the Rebels learned the Galactic Empire's next strategic target. Now a select Rebel strike team races against time, undertaking a desperate mission to thwart the Empire while the Imperial fleet closes in on the lightly defended Rebel base…
Fantasy Flight Games is thrilled to announce that players can soon take control of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and other pivotal heroes in Star Wars: The Card Game. Set during the classic Star Wars trilogy, the game provides an immersive galaxy of characters, starships, missions, and enemies.
This cooperative Living Card Game pits players against Imperial forces as they work together to complete dangerous missions. A devious artificial intelligence system drives the Imperial strategy. Star Destroyers, stormtroopers, bounty hunters, and the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader, launch attack after vicious attack as they close in on the Rebel base.
As the Empire's military presence increases, time begins to run out for the Rebel strike team. Each mission stage the Rebel strike team fails to complete makes it increasingly difficult for them to succeed at their overall objective before the Imperial armada destroys their base.
Building the Rebel Alliance
Designed for 1-4 players*, Star Wars: The Card Game allows players to explore a tremendous range of deck-building options as they draw upon the individual strengths of four Rebel strategies.
- The Military strategy excels at space and ground combat, using hit and run tactics and the Rebellion's strongest starships to engage their enemies.
- The Rogue strategy uses more discreet methods, such as smuggling and sabotage to confound the Empire.
- The Tech strategy focuses on repairs and upgrades, employing high-powered weaponry, droids, and cutting edge technology.
- The Operations strategy draws from the full strength of the Rebel Alliance, using diplomacy, politics, secret channels of communication, and espionage to advance their objectives.
Players can design decks for solo play or collaborate with friends to forge a stronger Rebel Alliance.
As a Living Card Game, Star Wars: The Card Game breaks away from the traditional Collectible Card Game purchase model. Players never have to worry about blind buys, and the game grows with the release of Force Packs, which introduce new missions, characters, starships, enemies, events, and attachments to the game. The galaxy continues to expand, and the Living Card Game model allows players to continue to customize decks as the card pool increases.
