My review:
Book four in The Last Apprentice series is a great read. Tom Ward, the Spook, and Alice finally travel to Pendle to the devil's triangle a hotbed of very powerful witch activity.

After Tom's father had passed away in book three and his mother left to travel back to Greece, Tom is left confused as to what direction to head in his life. Now about a year into his spook aprenticeship he faces the most dire threat as the powerful witch coven's of Pendle unite to raise "The Fiend" the devil himself.

The Last Apprentice: Night of the Soul Stealer Review

Just finished book three in The Last Apprentice series by Joseph Delaney. Its another fantastic dark tale about a failed apprentice of the Spook, Morgan. Morgan is a necromancer and is intent on stealing Tom Ward as his own apprentice away from the Spook.
Lots of intrigue as the Spook, Tom and Alice head north for the winter to the Anglezarke house. This house is not guarded by a fierce Bogart, but is inhabited by Meg Skelton the Spook Gregory's Lamia witch love. Will the Spook's love of a witch cloud his judgement, read Tom, Alice, and the Spook fight the winter's encroaching darkness.
If you havent read the series its great, and easy to read. Fans of Harry Potter will enjoy this series.
